Travis came by today and helped get my computer back on track- it was working, but it was slow and seemed to be doing a lot of stupid things. He came by and worked on it- got rid of a lot of junk on
it, reinstalled things and explained things real clearly to a person that is a pretty simple computer user. Gave me some good advice for what to do to keep things going well and that I needed to get
some memory for my netbook. He is very honest guy and is respectful if you are not as anywhere near as computer savvy as he is. I would recommend Travis to anyone that needs to get their computer in
good shape.

All i can say is WOW. i was in the market to buy a new computer so Travis suggested buying a business class computer and i needed it yesterday. So he had one on the shelf, but it wasn't fully
together and needed a hard drive and windows 7. So he told me if i wanted it ASAP and if i had the time he would show me how to fix it myself to get it up and running. Sure i was a little thrown back
with it, cause i never fixed a computer before and was nervous, but he walked me thru everything and didn't get frustrated with me. The best experience i ever had with this. i got an awesome computer
that runs fast and also got some training into how to fix a computer which i have never did before. Overall i think this company is looking out for your best interest and what he told me was "I
didn't name my company No Nonsense for nothing". Thank you so much Travis

Travis has done work for me several times over the past four years. He's diagnosed and fixed a power supply problem with my daughter's laptop, built me a desktop machine when the motherboard failed
on my old one, and recently fixed a memory board problem on the same desktop (and cleaned the power supply at the same time). Travis is quick, thorough, and has great rates. Highly recommended.

The power jack on my Asus laptop was not working and wouldn't hold a charge. I got a few quotes from local computer stores, but all of their prices were near very expensive and were going to take
days or a week to fix. I work from home, so I didn't have that kind of time to be without my laptop. Thankfully, I found Travis who was a few blocks from me and he was very helpful and turned my
computer around in 1 hour the same day I called! He also fixed the old cord for me until I could order a new one and gave me the site to where I could order a new one and helpful tips for other
things that could help me with my home office setup. I would highly recommend his services and he is the least expensive and most responsive in his business!
Travis came over on a Sunday morning, and fixed my problem in about ten minutes....He did lie--he told me over the phone Saturday night it would take at least twenty minutes--but he did it in ten. He
was Terrific!!! He was also on-time.. I cannot recommend him too highly.

When we contacted Travis regarding our laptop which was infected with a virus. he was able to help us with it immediately. The first place we tried said they would need to keep it for up to three
days, maybe more. He strives to and succeeds in providing great customer service. Our computer is up and running with no problems. We brought a second laptop in for general maintenance and he
discovered it had malware on it which he removed. He answered all of our questions and we won't hesitate to give him our business in the future. He offers reasonable rates with very fast and

My power button broke off of my laptop making it impossible to turn on. I called Travis on a Thursday. He told me he could get it working in a day (he had a couple of customers ahead of me). He found
another problem that needed to be fixed with the power cord connection. He called me and only added $15 onto the price quote to add the additional repair.It was all fixed and I was able to pick it up
and back up my files by Friday afternoon. From what I researched before contacting him, the replacement cost would have been at least double what I paid for the repair. Speedy and friendly service.

a power jack were near the $200 range. Luckily, I found Travis who could repair my laptop for more than half the cost. He's a very friendly guy who you could tell had experience. In less than a day I
had my problem solved and he even helped speed up my laptop for a few couple bucks. Great guy, great service.
Words do not describe or do justice to Travis's service and professionalism. I have used him in the past 5 years or so and he always on point. I had a more local company that has 4 or 5 stores come
by only because I ran into them at Toms Mobil on Rice st come over and they charged way more and did not even come close to meeting my needs. Frustrated I lived with my issues for 2 months and I
called No Non sense again and Travis gracefully solved all my issues and made my entire system more efficient and problem free.Much Faster!! Thanks again Travis

I had no idea what was wrong with my Samsung computer and I called Travis and he knew exactly what was wrong and he knew how to fix it. I dropped it off and it was fixed in under 24 hours. Travis
went above and beyond what I needed done and my computer is better than when I dropped it off. I have dealt with Best Buy in the past and they charge way more and take weeks to get anything fixed. I
will never go anywhere else. I am a very happy customer and would recommend him to anyone.

The jack of my Toshiba satellite was broken and I felt so helpless after calling like 20 other other computer repairs. They were so expensive and they told me fixing the jack will take about 2 to
3days. This is a laptop I use everyday so it was hard for me to stay without it for that long. I was about giving up before I called Travis. He was like half the standard price and he fixed my laptop
jack within minutes. I am so glad and my laptop is stilll working now so well months after he fixed it.
Having done some computer repair myself, I am familar around computers. I've fixed, upgraded, replaced pcs in the past, I do however, I know my limitations, and the intracacies of laptops aren't my
specialty. I went through all my experience trying to solve my problem and watched helplessly as my computer went from freezing up to not even starting. I figured my hard drive crashed and there was
no way to fix it, but I thought I'd give a more experienced person a try. After sifting through, Travis came up and attempted to breath life into my computer. Apparently there were multiple issues,
but he was able to come up with a solution that was I never even expected. Definitely blows away the competition. I'm recommending you hands down!

My laptop totally crashed on Tuesday March 19th at 9:00am. I did a quick Angie’s list search and made a few calls. None of them could see me right away and was told it would take anywhere from 2 to 5
days to get at it. Then I found Travis. I dropped off my laptop at 11:00 that day and picked it up at 4:00 totally restored and with some new bells and whistles all for a price that was much less
than the competition. The service was courteous and professional and the Travis’s overhead is very low as reflected in his charges. I would recommend No Non-Sense PC Repair to anyone.

I was a little wary hiring a stranger to handle my computer needs. I'm not wary anymore, I'm happy and very satisfied. Travis spent time with me on the phone before I even dropped off my computer at
his place of business. Travis was very understanding, patient, professional, and his expertise shined through all he said and did on my behalf. He told me my 'puter would be ready sometime tomorrow.

The service I received was efficient, affordable and fast. Other places that I had called wanted to charge me $200 and then keep my laptop for a whole week just to fix a piece that broke off inside
my laptop which enabled me to charge the laptop. I believe its been about a month since the repair and I have not had any other problems. Travis does really good work and gets it to you same day
service.
Travis got my computer it to be looked at the same day I called. It was fixed in about 4 hours, reasonable price and flexible schedule. Also told me the last guy the fixed the port (for the charger)
had not done it correctly. Computer works great and Travis even cleaned and charged it up for me!

What can I say, Travis knows his stuff more than the guys at big chains. I had no idea what was wrong with my computer so I took my computer to Travis for a diagnosis well it turned out my MB was
dead.Travis ordered the parts and moved all the computer parts from my previous huge computer case to the new smaller one for a fair price. LOL if I were to go to Geeksquad they probably charge me
more taking out the virus than the many hours Travis took to diagnosis and transferred all my computer parts.This place hands down offers the fairest prices and go far and beyond your expectations.
Our register went down and Travis was FAST with the help! Great guy, great service, and replaced the hard drive and cleaned everything up for us. Also got everything needed loaded up so we could get
everything back up and running. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable! Travis has got to be the most knowledgeable PC guy in the twin cities! My daughter came to my place from out of state and had to connect to my wireless on her laptop to Skype with her
husband who is in Afganastan. She couldn't get on because I didn't know how to find or get into my Security Code for my wireless connection. Travis got her all connected by phone and worked great!

After a big storm we couldn't turn on our computer. We did not want to go a certain big name repair place. We knew it would be expensive just to even find out what was wrong, not to mention the price
of the repair and just did not trust them. Used a smart phone to do some searching and "No Non-Sense PC Repair" came up. Read the reviews and the website and decided it was worth the try to see if
our computer could be saved. Went the next morning to see Tom & Travis. Tom looked at it right away. Couple hours later we went and picked it up. Couldn't be more pleased. It was the power
supply. They replaced it with an even better one than we had. They also took a lot of unnecessary stuff off of the computer that we didn't even know was on there etc. Our computer is about 8 years
old but runs great now and faster than ever. Couldn't be more pleased and we know we saved a lot of money. Tom and Travis are great and when it comes to computers they know their stuff. So good to
know there is a reliable company for computer repair that is reasonable and trustworthy. Plan to have them build us a custom computer someday. We highly recommend these guys. We will be forever
grateful to them and hope they are in business a long time.

I bought Diablo 3 the morning it went on the shelves and after loading the game I found out that my graphics card wasn't able to handle the game. Off to Craigs List I went shopping for a card that
could handle the game. I found the radeon 4870 for a pretty good price. I got on the phone and Travis answered and I was soon on my way over to his place to get it all hooked up. I did have to hit up
micro center to get a more powerful power source and Travis hooked everything up for me and explained everything that he was doing to me in a way that I could understand. He tested everything and I
was on my way home. I got home and went to play and my computer wouldn't boot up. The next evening Travis and I went to the shop to figure out what happened between the time I left his place and when
I got home. It took a bit of work, but he figured it out. The processor had gotten loose most likely because I put the tower on the floor of my truck instead of on the seat. I must have hit a bump
and it shook up the tower just enough to loosen things up. Travis is the kind of guy that won't give up until your computer is working the way it should. Travis went far above and beyond the call of
duty and I couldn't be happier. I will be doing business with him again for sure. Thanks for everything Travis. You rock!

Several weeks ago my Toshiba Satellite laptop became infected with a major virus... several of my techie friends tried to fix it but they couldn't connect to the Web and they couldn't reset back to a
previous date... I bought my laptop from Best Buy but the extended warranty had ended two weeks before and I had already found out that the Geek Squad no longer employees real geeks and over charge
to-boot! Travis had it all fixed in a little over a day plus the price was right... I felt so comfortable with Travis (obviously a true computer geek) that when I couldn't figure out how to turn my
touch pad off again... I'm always hitting it with my thumb which can cause much frustration... anyway after trying a few things myself (always dangerous) I picked up the phone and called my no
nonsense friend Travis. Hold down the function key and then F9 he said... bingo, all fixed. Now that's the kind of customer service we all want... I highly recommend these guys!

(they know what it was, I don't) was on its last legs. I think my laptop was about to crash, and some of my stuff might not have been recoverable! Travis had a refurbished laptop for sale, and in
less than 24 hours, I was back up and running with more power, upgraded systems, and other bells and whistles. I was so lucky to find NoNonSense. I will be back!

cost of anyone else i called. they told me what it was gonna cost on the phone and stood by it. i had a laptop that my kids spilled pop on and i thought it was dead, by if anyone thinks if water
touches electronics its a goner. they did a complete breakdown and cleaning on the computer and blam a miracle has been performed. no buying another computer here. thank you Tom n Trav great job

We had computer problems with both our laptop and PC. Both were running very slowly and would not even download scrubbing software. My brother recommended No Nonsense PC Repair so I gave them a call.
I dropped them off and within 24 hours Travis had them both running smoking fast and the charge was very reasonable. I even had questions after I got them home and he spent time on the phone walking

at my house. He immediately gave me an appointment and came here to our house in Plymouth, MN. He was punctual and professional. He found my problem...I needed a totally new hard drive, my old one

I bought a new computer (desktop) and paid the "squad" $100 to transfer my documents which were in the old MS Works format. They did, but it was just garbage and worthless. I bought the new MS
Office, but all there was to transfer was still garbage. Travis came to my home and worked a miracle (in my eyes). He converted everything back to the original and updated it to my new PC
I went to the geeks where they made me wait several minutes to speak with an agent. When I finally talked to an agent they tried to shoo me off back home to use my recovery disk; the same disk they
talked me into buying that now wasn't working. While waiting for them to fill out the forms to repair my computer (for $35 more than No Nonsense) I was approached by some sales guy pitching me a
script about their 2 year plan for only twice the price. I decided to leave and try my luck with the disk again. I thought it might be a problem with overheating, but I know viruses can manifest
themselves in many ways. Long story short, I brought the computer to Tom and Travis where they actually listen to what I had to say and even gave me feedback as to some probable causes. Two days
later I pick up my computer with that had been cleaned thoroughly. The problem was just a matter of overheating from too much dust and out of date protection (because of limited time available before
overheating). I also had viruses cleaned out with a new (free) anti-virus protection that was installed. I didn’t have to pay extra, so there wouldn’t be damage or loss of memory to my computer, like
the geeks. Tom and Travis are down to earth, professional, efficient, competent and comprehensive.

I spent 4 days working with Dell Technical Support to fix a slow computer and by the time they were done I no longer had the ability to connect to the internet. Dell told me that the only thing left
to do was to reinstall my operating system. Well...this is a business computer and I didn't want to loose my files so I called around for a local company to come in and help me. Geeksquad couldn't
get to my office for a week, another company charged $140.00 per hour, then I called No nonsense PC Repair. Travis came out the next morning and got my computer as well as several more in the office

Can't say enough good things about Travis! Woke up one morning and computer was locked up - fortunately my back up antiquated computer still opened and I found this ad and couldn't be happier.
Immediately he gave me some directions to check my hard drive to get that out of the way until I could bring it in. Impressed! Another pc repair I called first had quoted me $$$ for that part. Travis
cleaned up the problem, cleaned up, tuned up and, as someone else said, "pimped" my computer and even dropped by gratis to tweak a glitch and get this old antiquated one back on the internet all for

Thank you, thank you, thank you.......Travis you saved me again! With today being Sunday I took a chance on contacting you for your expertise. You responded....and I thank you so much. Today my kids
entered a password into the system...they did it incorrectly and screwed it up. I was unable to log onto my computer.... I was applying for jobs and was unable to get into the computer. Travis walked
me through the process of unlocking the computer. I am very thankful for his help (even on his day off!!!!!) As I indicated in a earlier entry....please use Travis and his partner they are very
knowledgeable and are great to work with.
I know nothing about computers, all I knew was that my computer had a virus.Travis talked to me and we decided to erase all my hard drive. Since I did not have anything on there anyway. I called
around besides chargeing me to erase my harddrive other places were going to charge me to download my software again. Travis did it all for one price. He is now my computer man... Great job!!

Travis came to my place of employment and repaired my personal computer that had been infected with the "system tool" virus. He was pleasant and did a thorough job. He went above and beyond the
normal customer service and pointed out other areas where my computer lacked sufficient security as well. My computer works great now. Hopefully I won't have to use him again (ha), but if I did need
computer repair again, I would use Travis without hesitation! Great job.

I had two computers that needed repair. The first was a pc that needed some parts, if I had gone to Best Buy I know they would've tried to sell me a new one. My laptop just needed a new screen.
Travis and Tom were great, got them done quickly, and the prices were reasonable. I will continue to recommend them to my friends and co-workers.

As many of you know I had a bunch of home PC issues this past couple of weeks and took my laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy. They told me I had a fried disk drive and fried mother board and the cost
to repair was approximately $400. Obviously I wasn't going to spend $400 on an 18 month old laptop. There was a $70 diagnostic charge as well. Geek Squad said they would waive the $70 charge if I
purchased a new computer from Best Buy.
A friend gave me Travis's name and I called him and explained the issue. $149 later my laptop is working better and faster than ever. By the way the motherboard was just fine and the hard drive was
repaired!
I strongly recommend Travis and his company.
These guys also make house calls.
Just as a follow-up on March 3rd:
Hey Travis, just wanted to let you know I finally made it back to best buy last night.
I asked to speak to a manager and told him the story and said the least you can do is refund my $70.
They had some sheepish excuses as to why they were wrong, which were totally BS.
I told them they should call No Nonsense PC Repair and hire you to fix all their PC's rather than mis-lead people.
They did refund me the $70 with-out any argument.

Travis made a house call to fix my virus infected laptop and installed new security software that beats Norton or McAfee. I couldn't imagine being without my computer for a week or more if I had
taken it to other services and paid twice as much. I've already handed out his business cards to friends and family. Thanks for getting me back up and in business again!

Was very happy with the service I've gotten from these guys. First time, I had a laptop that wasn't taking power; they quickly diagnosed it and said it was just an adapter problem, I could pick one
up at Micro Center -- so I left there without having paid them anything but happy they were honest. The second time, my desktop was fried, and they were able to save the contents of the hard drive
and get the computer working again. It took a couple of days, but that was to be expected. Was very happy and will go back to them again.

Watch out Geek Squad. Travis had been referred by a co-worker who swore by this guys ability to fix any stupid error on my part. While he was working on fixing the virus on my computer, I found out
he save our computer at work and now my employer is considering him for upgrading our system at work. Very pleasant, knowledgeable,and worth every penny. Thanks and look forward to working with you

The port on my laptop where the charger plugs in was broken. After calling several places and finding it was going to be hundreds of dollars, I had all but given up. Then, I was referred to Travis

My son's dc jack broke, I took it to Microcenter where we bought it and they told us that we should throw it out cause it wouldn't be worth fixing and the cost would be the same as a new laptop. I
didn't want to believe that!! So I searched the internet and found Travis's website, took my son's laptop to him and he had it fixed in an hour!! at a great price!! If we need any future computer

My Dell laptop was short and couldn't turn on. Travis diagnose the problem, two of my motherboard capacitors were blown off damaging nearby areas. He replaced my motherboard by finding a cheap one

My daughter cracked my labtop lcd screen and the Geek Squad said the estimated cost for diagnosis and replacement is b/t $300.00-400.00. A friend told me that it is a lot cheaper to order online and
replace it myself. I got a new screen all right, but unable to make it work. Thinking that I have fried sth in my labtop, I brought it in to see if it's still worth repairing. I saw Tom and he said

purchased from local store. He saved my old files and then reinstalled my software programs back onto system. Love the computer now, he even showed me how to post a picture in an ad for Craigs list
using my software. Everything turned out just like he promised me. I plan to continue with them if any problem comes up in the future.

Been aware of Travis since early 2009 and kept him as # 1 on my list for potential service needs. Major need arose in early July when my wife's laptop became virus infected.
Travis came to home and quickly detected and eliminated virus and did basic software/program reconfiguration/updates, etc. For my desktop, he did general system checks, updated protective software
and converted my e-mail acccess.
Impressed with his patience and knowledge, without condescension, as he had to contact Comcast by phone, waiting for quite a while through phone trees.. and then had to be transferred to Norton,
where he also had to wait to be in touch with technicians !!
Later, there were a couple slight reconfguration glitches, where he walked me through the steps by phone when we were able to arrange an acceptable time.
Greatly appreciated Travis's efforts and patience with reasonable fee...

Travis is the best! I highly recommend him. I'm a college student and when my laptop got a virus I took it to the Geek Squad. Big mistake! They wanted to charge me $199 upfront without even taking a
look at my computer--plus it would take 3-5 days!
Travis got it done in less than a day, and he explained what he was doing while I watched. You can't beat the price or the turnaround, and the customer service. He doesn't try to push expensive
products on you for no reason like other computer repair companies. I couldn't recommend him highly enough! I will definitely go back if I have any more computer trouble.

My Apple iMac G5 had several bad capacitors on the logic board. The Apple extended warranty for this known problem is now expired. I called "authorized" apple repair shops in the Twin Cities and all
anyone will do is replace the logic board at a cost of more than it would be worth.
I found Travis on-line, dropped my Mac off on Saturday, and he had the capacitors soldered in, tested and ready to go on Monday, and all for an unbelievable price.
I would not hesitate to recommend Travis to anyone in need of repairing critical components instead of just replacing them for too much money.

I don't think I can overstate the excellent job Travis does with computer repairs. I was facing having my internet permanently blocked from my provider because of malware/bots embedded in my
computer. After a failed attempt by a rival computer repair company, Travis spent over three hours removing unneeded files that were the prime suspects in my virus issue, downloading software that
would help keep the viruses away, speeding up my computer, and explaining to me what was going on and what to watch for. All for a price that I can't imagine anyone could or will match, plus a 90 day
guarantee. What sticks with me most about Travis' professionalism, is he gave a follow up phone call to check on how my computer is working.

I had a multitude of issues with my computer. On 5/10, I had had it. He answered promptly. I asked if he could come and fix the issues on my computer. I was thinking that since it was a Monday that
he probably already had his day full of appointments. However, he said that he would come right out. He did the work,and I watched while he did what was necessary. It was enlightening and helpful to
me.
I recommend him very, very highly to anyone who has problems with their computer. He is a gentleman.His work was thorough and his cost was amazingly reasonable.

All the way back in February, Travis was able to fix my laptop on the same day he got it in his hands. I have been thanking him silently every morning my laptop fires up fine. Now I am here to thank

While I had pursued several other avenues in resolving my power issues, including fixing the problem myself, I learned not only was Travis able to do it the quickest but also at the best price. Plus,
he found a problem that others had not seen. I really, really doubt GeekSquad would have had the wherewithal to give me the service that Travis did.
If and when I have somebody to send his way, you can bet that I will!

it. Within an hour he had replaced my fan and its no longer running all the time. He even helped to make my computer run faster. He only charged me $40 for his time and parts...i told him can I at
least pay you $50? He said "its up to you". I compare Travis to a very honest car mechanic, one who doesn't try to sucker you into additional stuff/parts you don't need and lets you know exactly what

I have a hp dv9000 that was dead. i would push the power button some lights would flash but nothing. I had done some research online and i came to the conclusion that my motherboard was shot. I took
the laptop completly apart and planned on sending the motherboard out for repair in another state which was going to be very costly. i decided to look around locally to see if anyone could fix it.
there were some that said they would look at it but had no idea what was wrong. I called Travis from No Nonsense PC repair, he had a very good idea what was wrong with it with just the small
information i gave him. so i brought it to him expecting to just get the motherboard fixed. He told me to bring the whole computer to him so he could put it back togather and make sure it all works.
which i thought would be very ex[ensive but he said he would do it all for 100 dollars. i was going to spend alot more than that to send it out and i would have to put it al back togather and worry
about having problems. If i had sent the motherboard out for repair it would have been at least a week to two weeks. Travis had my computer back to me the same day. Overall it was a very good
experience working with Travis. He knows his stuff. I will always bring my computer problems back to No Nonsense Pc Repair. Thanks Travis

I absolutely recommend Travis!! I thought the DC Jack on my laptop was broken; when I went to drop off my computer to be fixed, Travis took a minute to diagnose it and discovered it wasn't the DC
Jack at all, but simply that the power cord was dead! He happened to have a spare cord that he sold me on the spot, which was an absolute savior. He then offered to clean it up so it would run faster
and additionally offered to blow the dust out of the fan - both services any competitor would have charged significantly for. I was in and out in under an hour, and it only wound up costing me $40 -
Travis is an absolute life saver!!
Travis truly is fantastic at what he does, which is why our company uses him exclusively for all of our PC repairs, tune-up's etc. We could do it ourselves but his pricing is great and hes always up

What a terrific PC Repairman Travis is!! I was about to take a hammer to my PC I was so mad, because it virtually would do nothing anymore. It said I was out of memory which I knew was not possible
and had things going on in the background so bad it made using my PC a nightmare to work on. Travis got here and cured it and it's unbelievable how Smooth and Fast everything is working. Great Job

Travis recently did some work on my computer. He was able to accomodate my schedule on very short notice and did an amazing job of "cleaning up" my computer. He called me the next morning to see if I
was having any problems - unfortunately, I was having some additional difficulties but Travis was able to come back to my house within a few hours (during a snowstorm and two days before Christmas).
He worked quickly to do an additional fix so I could be on my way to a family gathering on time. Now, my computer works great! I'm very pleased with the work that Travis did and would highly
recommend him to anyone!

Travis came out in the morning and ran software to detect the malware slowing my Dell XP desktop. Prior I had been alerted twice by my internet provider that I had a 'bot' and had unsuccessfully
tried 2 popular malware removal software recommended by them to clean my computer. Travis' tests came up clean too. He ended up running software for part of the day, returning to work on it somemore
only to take it home that night to continue. He finally uncovered the system based virus by removing my harddrive and running the correction software on his computer. The malware wasn't allowing the
correction software into the system until he used his unaffected system to check my harddrive. He did all this at a fixed cost. A competitor would have charged me $169/first hour then $99/hr on site
or $190 fixed price plus 3-5 days if I brought it in. Travis provided great expertise, persistence, fast service and exceptional value. I highly recommend him.

I called to have Travis fix my Dell Laptop. It wasn't connecting with external power. He wasn't able to fix it for I had caused my Dell to melt some important power wire, but he did have a newly
repaired Dell Laptop for sale for only $200!! and it had Windows XP on it. So, I bought from him, and he showed me how to transfer my un-fixable laptop's hard drive to the new laptop I just bought.
Also, he told me what I needed for keeping my laptop from getting virus and over heating. He was really great and even though he wasn't able to fix the Dell I brought in, he was able to sell me one
that works better, runs faster and is newer than my old laptop. I will be using him for all my pc needs from now on.
Tony worked on my Imac, I am thrilled with the results, everything is back up running as new! He was on time, full of helpful info and the price was more than fair. Don't use anyone else, if you want

I brought my daughters laptop into Travis, the computer just wouldn't work anymore. It was the hard drive. Travis took the time to show me pricing online for getting a new drive and also checked some
other areas of the computer. I never felt pushed into anything and also felt he was honest and sincere in doing the work he does. There is something to be said with having someone make you feel
comfortable and who truly enjoys the work they do. I asked Travis for business cards, and I will just hang on to them for when I hear someone mention that their computer isn't working properly. I

Travis's quick work saved the day for me and my HP Pavilion zv5000.
The day we were set to leave for a car trip from Chicago to northern Minnesota, the power jack in my laptop finally refused to connect to the plug once and for all after being "loose" for a week or
two. I needed my laptop, and only my own laptop, for the work I needed to do on this trip. We had already tried a new plug and adapter... so it had to be the jack.
Since we'd be driving all day, we knew that the Twin Cities would be about the only place we would be able to stop for a repair along the way. A lucky Google search turned up No Nonsense. We called
Travis at about 9:00 in the morning, and he said he had the part in stock, and would be able to repair the computer that afternoon while we waited. Had we gone to the competition, it would have been
$190+ and we would have had to leave the laptop there until the return trip.
I admit I was initially wary about talking my laptop to a shop that was run out of someone's home. But Travis had us back on the road in two hours, and I was able to finish my work during the road
trip and not after it as I had feared. He was kind able to work on our schedule. He was even kind enough to pull a huge dust bunny out of the cooling fan and make sure I knew how to keep it clear of
dust. Travis is the sort of stand-up guy you wish there were more people like. I'm 100% satisfied and you will be too. Now if only he had a clone in Chicago...

have been more pleased with the service I received. I dropped my computer off at 3:00 in the afternoon and had it back by 8:00 that same night with the issues resolved. For the price, you can not

I had defective RAID configuration which caused my computer to just quit. Travis worked around the problem and was able to restore many of the files and set one drive to be used for backup
only.
Several months later it would not boot up again. I was told by others that the hard drive needed to be replaced. Travis diagosed the software problem and nothing needed to be replaced. This was all

We highly recommend Travis. After our cats knocked over Brian's laptop, and I [Ashley] ended up taking it a part after Best Buy gave us a "worst case scenario" of $1,000 dollars to fix it, I realized
that this was overpriced and ridiculous as the motherboard doesn't even cost that much. [I've dabbled with computer repair myself, and know enough to know that no repair would ever cost that
much].
Travis took the time to remove the busted DC Jack, fought the crappy soldering points, and installed the new jack and put everything back together. When the computer started having problems during
the trial run to make sure everything was okay, he took even more time to take the laptop apart again, check the connections, and fixed a grounding issue he noticed. All this for $75.00. Best Buy
would have charged us 80 flat out just to look at it; and even more to repair it [which usually means it would have been shipped out to the repair center, which takes 3 weeks]. Travis was able to fix
the computer and have it back to us in complete working order in an hour or two.
We will definitely be referring anyone with computer issues to Travis. He was patient and thorough, and made sure we understood what he was doing without the techie jargon you'll get at some other
places. It's a home run business, but it's definitely worth it! He knows his stuff. His cat is also quite friendly and is more than willing to occupy the wait time if your problem is a same-day fix.

My dad found Travis on CL and he did an awesome job! My computer wouldn't boot to windows and I was without a laptop for 3 months! Also, my power jack and cord weren't working and it wasn't charging.
First of all he backed up all my files on my portable hard drive. Then he cleaned off the corrosion on a chip that was causing the boot problem. Then he was going to replace the power jack with the
one we had already bought, but it was the wrong one. So he switched it with one he already had which was so nice! Also, he fixed our wireless network problems! He did an awesome job and my family
will mostly being using his services again.

Had another comp. tec out about 3 months ago to get a desk top set up for wireless. He took the tower to his house for 3 days. Came back with it and said it worked at his pace but here he couldn't

Just what does one do without a car in the dead of a Minnesota winter when the computer crashes? One calls Travis, of course. When that "worst nightmare" happened the other afternoon, my friend went
online to find No Non-sense PC repair. We called right away and Travis was at my home within a few hours, exactly at the time he said I should expect him. He brought my computer back to life using
methods I neither understand nor can explain, then proceeded to add security measures and increase performance. He worked an hour and a half, charged me forty dollars for his work and ten for the

Wow, what can I say. Travis was professional, knew exactly what he was doing, affordable and best of all a really nice guy. I brought my laptop in to have the DC jack repaired and it was fixed that
same day! Travis was even able to use existing parts he already had to make my overall cost REALLY reasonable. You can't get this kind of quality work for this price anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend

obtaining another motherboard was difficult given that the type I needed was no longer being suppported and refurbished ones cost almost as much as a new PC. He transferred some good components from

Travis of no-nonsense PC repair, came to my home recently and in a short period of time he did an analysis of my software & hardware and then fixed the problem.
I myself had been trying to resolve this problem for about 3 weeks thru the self help web pages, many emails sent back & forth, Q&A pages etc but to no avail.
I would definitely recommend No-Nonsense repair for fixing your computer problems.
We can do remote Support so you don't have to go no where. As long as you can get on the internet i can fix most software issues from my office.
$50 per 1 session and you can buy a maintenance contract that gives you 4 remote sessions for $160. Great for simple and possible virus issues whatever you want to resolve.

He came by and worked on it- got rid of a lot of junk on it, reinstalled things and explained things real clearly to a person that is a pretty simple computer user. Gave me some good advice for what to do to keep things going well and that I needed to get some memory for my netbook. He is very honest guy and is respectful if you are not as anywhere near as computer savvy as he is. I would recommend Travis to anyone that needs to get their computer in good shape.

The power jack on my Asus laptop was not working and wouldn't hold a charge. I got a few quotes from local computer stores, but all of their prices were near very expensive and were going to take days or a week to fix. When we contacted Travis regarding our laptop which was infected with a virus. he was able to help us with it immediately. The first place we tried said they would need to keep it for up to three days, maybe more. He strives to and succeeds in providing great customer service. Our computer is up and running with no problems. We brought a second laptop in for general maintenance and he discovered it had malware on it which he removed. He answered all of our questions and we won't hesitate to give him our business in the future. He offers reasonable rates with very fast and excellent service.

Our office was having some issues with our color letterhead. We had contacted several other repair places before we contacted Travis, and none of the others were willing to try and figure out the problem. My power button broke off of my laptop making it impossible to turn on. I called Travis on a Thursday. He told me he could get it working in a day (he had a couple of customers ahead of me). He found another problem that needed to be fixed with the power cord connection. He called me and only added $15 onto the price quote to add the additional repair.It was all fixed and I was able to pick it up and back up my files by Friday afternoon. From what I researched before contacting him, the replacement cost would have been at least double what I paid for the repair. Speedy and friendly service.

The power jack on my Asus was completely busted and pieces of it were left rattling in the laptop. I got several quotes from local and non-local computer shops, but all of their prices for repairing a power jack were near the $200 range. Luckily, I found Travis who could repair my laptop for more than half the cost. He's a very friendly guy who you could tell had experience. In less than a day I had my problem solved and he even helped speed up my laptop for a few couple bucks. Great guy, great service.

Words do not describe or do justice to Travis's service and professionalism. I have used him in the past 5 years or so and he always on point. I had a more local company that has 4 or 5 stores come by only because I ran into them at Toms Mobil on Rice st come over and they charged way more and did not even come close to meeting my needs. Frustrated I lived with my issues for 2 months and I called No Non sense again and Travis gracefully solved all my issues and made my entire system more efficient and problem free.Much Faster!! I had no idea what was wrong with my Samsung computer and I called Travis and he knew exactly what was wrong and he knew how to fix it. I dropped it off and it was fixed in under 24 hours. Travis went above and beyond what I needed done and my computer is better than when I dropped it off. I have dealt with Best Buy in the past and they charge way more and take weeks to get anything fixed. I will never go anywhere else. I am a very happy customer and would recommend him to anyone.

The jack of my Toshiba satellite was broken and I felt so helpless after calling like 20 other other computer repairs. They were so expensive and they told me fixing the jack will take about 2 to 3days. This is a laptop I use everyday so it was hard for me to stay without it for that long. I was about giving up before I called Travis. He was like half the standard price and he fixed my laptop jack within minutes. I am so glad and my laptop is stilll working now so well months after he fixed it.

Having done some computer repair myself, I am familar around computers. I've fixed, upgraded, replaced pcs in the past, I do however, I know my limitations, and the intracacies of laptops aren't my specialty. I went through all my experience trying to solve my problem and watched helplessly as my computer went from freezing up to not even starting. I figured my hard drive crashed and there was no way to fix it, but I thought I'd give a more experienced person a try. After sifting through, Travis came up and attempted to breath life into my computer. Apparently there were multiple issues, but he was able to come up with a solution that was I never even expected. Definitely blows away the competition. I'm recommending you hands down!

My laptop totally crashed on Tuesday March 19th at 9:00am. I did a quick Angie’s list search and made a few calls. None of them could see me right away and was told it would take anywhere from 2 to 5 days to get at it. Then I found Travis. I dropped off my laptop at 11:00 that day and picked it up at 4:00 totally restored and with some new bells and whistles all for a price that was much less than the competition. No NonSense was excellent. I shopped around and talked to other techs who quoted ridiculous base rates and thought it was a good idea to diagnose my computer over the phone. Then I called NNPCR. The quote was more than reasonable and my computer was fixed the same day. The work was professional and personable. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I was a little wary hiring a stranger to handle my computer needs. I'm not wary anymore, I'm happy and very satisfied. Travis spent time with me on the phone before I even dropped off my computer at his place of business. Travis was very understanding, patient, professional, and his expertise shined through all he said and did on my behalf. He told me my 'puter would be ready sometime tomorrow. He was so good and so thoughtful of my feelings and left an awsome email for me around midnight telling me he had it done early and that I could pick it up anytime in the morning! The service I received was efficient, affordable and fast. Other places that I had called wanted to charge me $200 and then keep my laptop for a whole week just to fix a piece that broke off inside my laptop which enabled me to charge the laptop. I believe its been about a month since the repair and I have not had any other problems. Travis does really good work and gets it to you same day service.

Travis got my computer it to be looked at the same day I called. It was fixed in about 4 hours, reasonable price and flexible schedule. Also told me the last guy the fixed the port (for the charger) had not done it correctly. Computer works great and Travis even cleaned and charged it up for me!

When my 7 year old Dell began to fade, I called Travis re repair and upgrade. He suggested I simply have him build me a new computer with similar dimensions to the original but much greater speed and memory. Travis was able to do this with great speed and efficiency and at a very reasonable cost. My new computer is lightning quick. I now think of Travis as "The Dude" of computer repairmen. What can I say, Travis knows his stuff more than the guys at big chains. I had no idea what was wrong with my computer so I took my computer to Travis for a diagnosis well it turned out my MB was dead.Travis ordered the parts and moved all the computer parts from my previous huge computer case to the new smaller one for a fair price. LOL if I were to go to Geeksquad they probably charge me more taking out the virus than the many hours Travis took to diagnosis and transferred all my computer parts.This place hands down offers the fairest prices and go far and beyond your expectations.

Unbelievable! Travis has got to be the most knowledgeable PC guy in the twin cities! My daughter came to my place from out of state and had to connect to my wireless on her laptop to Skype with her husband who is in Afganastan. She couldn't get on because I didn't know how to find or get into my Security Code for my wireless connection. Travis got her all connected by phone and worked great! I took my computer in with Malware/virus and a CD drive issue and was thrilled with the quick quality service. When I picked it up they took the time to show me what had been corrected. After a big storm we couldn't turn on our computer. We did not want to go a certain big name repair place. We knew it would be expensive just to even find out what was wrong, not to mention the price of the repair and just did not trust them. Used a smart phone to do some searching and "No Non-Sense PC Repair" came up. Read the reviews and the website and decided it was worth the try to see if our computer could be saved. Went the next morning to see Tom & Travis. Tom looked at it right away. Couple hours later we went and picked it up. Couldn't be more pleased. It was the power supply. They replaced it with an even better one than we had. They also took a lot of unnecessary stuff off of the computer that we didn't even know was on there etc. Our computer is about 8 years old but runs great now and faster than ever. Couldn't be more pleased and we know we saved a lot of money. Tom and Travis are great and when it comes to computers they know their stuff. So good to know there is a reliable company for computer repair that is reasonable and trustworthy. Plan to have them build us a custom computer someday. We highly recommend these guys. We will be forever grateful to them and hope they are in business a long time.

I bought Diablo 3 the morning it went on the shelves and after loading the game I found out that my graphics card wasn't able to handle the game. Off to Craigs List I went shopping for a card that could handle the game. I found the radeon 4870 for a pretty good price. I got on the phone and Travis answered and I was soon on my way over to his place to get it all hooked up. I did have to hit up micro center to get a more powerful power source and Travis hooked everything up for me and explained everything that he was doing to me in a way that I could understand. He tested everything and I was on my way home. I got home and went to play and my computer wouldn't boot up. The next evening Travis and I went to the shop to figure out what happened between the time I left his place and when I got home. It took a bit of work, but he figured it out. The processor had gotten loose most likely because I put the tower on the floor of my truck instead of on the seat. I must have hit a bump and it shook up the tower just enough to loosen things up. Travis is the kind of guy that won't give up until your computer is working the way it should. Travis went far above and beyond the call of duty and I couldn't be happier. I will be doing business with him again for sure. Thanks for everything Travis. You rock!

Several weeks ago my Toshiba Satellite laptop became infected with a major virus... several of my techie friends tried to fix it but they couldn't connect to the Web and they couldn't reset back to a previous date... I bought my laptop from Best Buy but the extended warranty had ended two weeks before and I had already found out that the Geek Squad no longer employees real geeks and over charge to-boot! Travis had it all fixed in a little over a day plus the price was right... I felt so comfortable with Travis (obviously a true computer geek) that when I couldn't figure out how to turn my touch pad off again... I'm always hitting it with my thumb which can cause much frustration... anyway after trying a few things myself (always dangerous) I picked up the phone and called my no nonsense friend Travis. Hold down the function key and then F9 he said... bingo, all fixed. Now that's the kind of customer service we all want... I highly recommend these guys!

I am thrilled. Thanks to Travis and Tom, I saved a ton of money, time, stress and headaches. I was having major problems with my screen, my whole system was running really slowly, and something major (they know what it was, I don't) was on its last legs. I think my laptop was about to crash, and some of my stuff might not have been recoverable! Travis had a refurbished laptop for sale, and in less than 24 hours, I was back up and running with more power, upgraded systems, and other bells and whistles. I was so lucky to find NoNonSense. I will be back!

All i can say is WOW, i tried calling a few shops before i found these guys online and it just sickened me how much it costs to just get a computer fixed. this is professional service at half the cost of anyone else i called. they told me what it was gonna cost on the phone and stood by it. i had a laptop that my kids spilled pop on and i thought it was dead, by if anyone thinks if water touches electronics its a goner. they did a complete breakdown and cleaning on the computer and blam a miracle has been performed. no buying another computer here. thank you Tom n Trav great job guys.
