I am not very tech savvy and Travis rebuilt my whole computer. Then I had a minor problem which I had no idea how to solve and Travis helped me by phone. People in my family who understand computer systems credit Travis with having done an excellent job at a decent price. I have recommended him already to one person. Most people probably would not have rebuilt, but suggested upgrade - Travis was willing to meet our needs.

Had a problem with my computer. Repair stores would've charged over what the computer is worth, taken days to deliver, and gave no guarantee of success. Travis had my computer fixed the next day, and it was better than ever. His rates are very fair and I would highly recommend him.

Similar to Brian, I went to Travis for PC repair over Christmas. Had my computer back in less than 24 hours with new operating system, all bugs eliminated and free tutoring on the best browser to use for security and more for an incredibly reasonable price. Thanks Travis!

I had a Desktop and Laptop worked on by Travis this past week...his service was same day/next day even during the holiday week. After his tuneups, my machines are running much better. He's fast, attentive, affordable and a great communicator...great, straight forward customer service. I'll definitely be using his services moving forward and would recommend him to anyone for computer repair.

I have known Travis for at least 5 years now and I always call him when I need computer help. He has cleared hard drives, installed additional memory and built a whole new computer for me. I really like that I can call him and I know he will always get back to me. Very courteous, knowledgeable and dependable. And same or next day service! I needed a new computer for my home office and when I asked Travis what brand to get he told me he builds them using the best parts. No hesitation on my part because I know I'm getting the best at a very reasonable price. Thrilled with my new custom built computer and the fact that Travis even came to my office and set it up! I do not hesitate to highly recommend Travis to anyone with computer or tech support needs.

I broke a connector off my Macbook's circuit board when trying to replace my fan. I needed it reattached fast, and Travis was the only person who said he could fix it that day. At first I was hesitant to drop my computer off at someone's house, but Travis was very professional and very friendly.

True to his word, Travis had it reattached that day. As it turned out, I had damaged the soldering points on the connector so it couldn't be soldered back on, but Travis glued it back on and gave me advice on removing it safely when working on it in the future.

Travis was great to work with and, when compared to other places in the Twin Cities, cheaper but higher quality repairs. He also gets things done quick. I took my laptop to him for a DC power jack repair at 8am and he had it fixed within the same day. 5 stars out of 5!

When I couldn't get my laptop to boot, I called my son to ask if he had had any experience booting from a disk and if so what disk. He told me to call Travis before I did anything irreversible! [He and his wife are very happy with the work Travis did for them about 12 months ago and he had no reservations recommending that I contact Travis.]

I called Travis immediately and told him what was happening, he diagnosed hard drive problems and strongly encouraged me to turn it off. I brought it in the next day and when he ran a diagnostic it showed 20% of my hard drive had bad sectors. Travis repaired these, removed some software and viruses that were causing problems and repaired one of the keys. He worked with me to get it done that day and at a very reasonable price. No problems booting and websites load much more quickly. Thanks, Travis!

High quality service at the best rates around! Travis has resolved issues for me on 2 different laptops, both were done quickly and on very short notice. He clearly explained the problems and helped me understand how to avoid future issues. I highly recommend Travis, No Nonsense is what you'll get - and you'll never go anywhere else!

I had Travis put a new screen on my laptop while I waited! Everyone else I contacted said it would be 4 or 5 business days out. He replaced my screen in no time and I was very happy with what he charged me. Just great service from a complete professional that knows what he's doing. I would and wiil recommend him to anyone with a computer problem.

My computer crashed and wouldn't boot up into Windows. Called up Travis and he had it done the next day at an amazing price. Great rates and great work, I'll never have to do another search for computer repair in the Twin Cities!

Travis is highly qualified to repair any type of computer. He fixed my MacBook's main board (logic board). He did it fast (same day) and at a great price. It was my first experience but for sure I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend him to my friends for any type of desktop or laptop repair. Thanks Travis!

    Katie (Wednesday, 02 October 2013 18:42)

Awesome PC repair and service! I am a repeat customer and very pleased with the quality of repair, honesty, and service Travis provides. I took my PC in after it dropped off my desk and suffered interior and exterior damaged. For a flat rate, I received my computer back in like-new condition. Travis fixed the damage I mentioned as well as other keyboard damage. He also cleaned it and installed free anti-virus. Everywhere else I've taken my computers, I've always ended up spending double (or more) what my initial quote was, but Travis was up front with me from the start. Definitely recommend!

Best PC & Mac service ever. Hard drive crashed and burned (i5 Macbook Pro). The turn around time was within 24 hours excellent. I found Travis over google search called him set a appt. Very professional, personable, and informative. No big box B.S. real advice, support, and results. Lowest prices ever. Flat rates for repairs and services. Truly my Mac is better than the day I unboxed it. I will be a repeat customer of Travis many years to come. How business should be done. Give this man a try, you will not be disappointed.

    My Computer problems:
*Delta search malware. I could not get rid of it.
    *Lots of unwanted ads
*Generally very slow. AOL especially slow.
*Difficult or impossible to download a video from Amazon
    *Internet Explorer-comes up as http://line.com ????
After trying in vain to fix these problems myself, I took my computer to Travis.
Travis fixed all of my problems so my computer now runs like new! The cost was exactly what he promised, and it was done on time. Very satisfied!

    David (Thursday, 05 September 2013 17:00)

Awesome Experience! I spilled some water in my Macbook Air and it kept shutting off after 10 seconds. After getting some bids around $200 to clean it, I found Travis on Craigslist and took it to him since he had a flat $100 service fee and sounded very knowledgeable on the phone. After Travis cleaned and dried it out, the main problem of the computer turning off was fixed, but it still had some keyboard problems, so Travis installed a new keyboard which didn't cost any extra labor as it was still $100 flat service fee. He also showed me which item I needed and where to buy it cheap for $30. Other repair shops would have charged me extra for installing keyboard which takes a couple of hours. I highly recommend.

I brought my custom built gaming rig to Travis with a problem regarding a blue screen off death. I'm no slouch when it comes to my system, I mean I built it from scratch. But even my buddy from geek squad couldn't figure this one out. I'll admit, I was tentative about going through him when I first showed up. However, any qualms I had were subdued by Travis' professional and personable demeanor. He fixed my computer overnight, and even gave me a receipt explaining in detail the work he did. Not only do I trust Travis to do what he says he's going to do, I trust him with one of my most prized possessions. I would recommend him to anyone in the area needing anything done to their computers. His price cannot be beat.

After calling several places, I decided to go to Travis when my computer crashed. I'm really happy I did because I was very impressed with his technical expertise and with his very fair price. He fixed my computer, upgraded my operating system and added an anti-virus software all within a day! He didn't try to sell me lots of stuff I didn't need - he really is no nonsense and I would highly recommend him.

    Drew (Sunday, 04 August 2013 13:18)

I have seen Travis on multiple occasions and each time he has done a fantastic job. I first saw him for a virus removal. Not only was the price more than fair, but I had my computer back in less than a day. My computer was running like the day I picked it up. He also recommended a new anti-virus that is completely free, works way better than the subscription based programs, and a few other free programs to help optimize my performance.

The next time I came to Travis was actually about upgrading my computer to make it even better. I had already purchased a gaming computer but wanted it faster. I added a new graphics card, doubled the RAM, added a fan, upgraded to Windows 8, and upon his recommendation went to a solid state hard drive (which is well worth the money). After all that my computer runs like a dream and can run any game on ultra settings. The best part about all of this was the great price and speed in which it was done.

After everything Travis has done for me, I cant recommend him highly enough. The price and service will beat any competitor you can find. If you need anything computer related Travis should be your first option.

Travis did an awesome job on my computer when it got infected with a virus on a Friday night. I got it to him on Saturday and within 2 hours it was back on track and running faster than ever. The cost was awesome! Travis is a very personable young man. It was great to have someone who I felt I could trust and who came through for me last minute. Most computer shops are closed on the weekend and can't get it done as fast or as cheap as Travis did. I will be recommending Travis to any of my friends who need their computers fixed.

    Alice M. (Friday, 26 July 2013 14:50)

Travis did some awesome (and very patient) work on my old Mac. I was struggling with the idea of buying a new computer or fixing mine that seemed to be working okay except for a screen problem - and fixing it with No-Nonsense PC Repair was definitely the better and more affordable option. Travis patiently slogged through multiple different potential fixes until the problem was solved with a like-new screen. I really appreciated his good communication with me - He called to let me know how things were going along the way, and called to make sure I was okay with the screen choice. Not necessarily something every computer repair group would do. On top of that, Travis is a good-humored, good dude.

Awesome work. So glad I saw Travis' listing on Google Maps.

Amazing, I was frustrated with others who claimed to be tech's in addition to be duped by an outfit called Live Technician.(hang up when you hear that name). My brother has used Travis for years, so I called him. He immediately went to work on my machine via remote, Did a full clean up. Runs almost a new machine, or should I say "runs like a deer". I am ecstatic to have finally called him, what great job and great person Travis is. Don't hesitate just give him a call

The DC jack on my Toshiba laptop was broken. I instantly went online in search of a repair shop. I was happily surprised when I stumbled upon No non sense Computer repair. The prices listed were on the site seemed lower than ehat other sites listed. After a brief conversation with Travis he assured me that this was an easy fix for him to complete. Travis was able to get my laptop in the same day and had the repair completed very quickly. (I barely made it back to my office before receiving a text that the repair was complete) The price listed on the site was what I was charged. No surprise fees or additional charges. I will definitely be bringing future computer repairs to Travis. The names says it all, No non sense, he says he can fix it and he does no fluff.

I had the unfortunate experience of spilling an entire glass of wine on my MacPro laptop. It was dead. I mean totally dead. Travis cleaned the wine out, reflowed the motherboard and reinstalled the OS. Low and behold it came back to life. All for $100. Apple told me I needed a new computer or at least a $1250 repair. I could not be happier with the service and results.

    Rich Markovitz (Saturday, 13 July 2013 17:05)

I contacted Travis in order to have the dc jack on my Toshiba laptop repaired. I was not disappointed. I have only praise for the experience. Travis was prompt, convenient, the price was right. Most importantly he was very competent. Not only did he replace the dc jack but he also repaired the mouse pad and cleaned the inside. Now I can expect to get additional life out of the laptop,
I won't hesitate to call him for any future technology repairs. When when my friends ask if I can recommend someone Travis will be the name i give them.
    Thanx Travis

I have a Imac 21" that was having a little trouble freezing doing little tasks. i called and tried a couple other places to no avail to even diagnose my problem, but being a guy who doesn't pay for no service's rendered i wasn't going to pay for nothing diagnosed. so i decided to find somebody capable and with confidence to solve my problem. so then i called travis and he quickly knew it was a failing hard drive, which was a bad thing for me cause i have everything stored on it. so he decided it's time to get me upgraded to as he said "a non mechanical hard drive" to boost performance. all i can say is wow this thing is lightning fast. everything i do now is ten times as fast and he was able to recover all my data in a timely and not even costly fashion. i would've paid those other guys fee, but travis doesn't have all the overhead and does the best work i have seen in this area of expertise. Thank you travis everything works perfect and you deserve every word i have said today.

    A Hanson (Friday, 21 June 2013 19:54)

Travis is extremely competent, reliable and very helpful. I had a bad power jack on a laptop and he fixed it with extremely fast turnaround. He helped reinforce the work through applying some hot glue and he seems like a wizard with a soldering iron. You have to understand this is a job most repair shops will not tackle and if they do, they will overcharge you for it to pay for their flashy brick and mortar presence. I highly recommend his services.

    jackie Lannin (Saturday, 15 June 2013 13:12)

Travis came by today and helped get my computer back on track- it was working, but it was slow and seemed to be doing a lot of stupid things. He came by and worked on it- got rid of a lot of junk on it, reinstalled things and explained things real clearly to a person that is a pretty simple computer user. Gave me some good advice for what to do to keep things going well and that I needed to get some memory for my netbook. He is very honest guy and is respectful if you are not as anywhere near as computer savvy as he is. I would recommend Travis to anyone that needs to get their computer in good shape.

    Aidan Vaughn (Friday, 07 June 2013 10:23)

All i can say is WOW. i was in the market to buy a new computer so Travis suggested buying a business class computer and i needed it yesterday. So he had one on the shelf, but it wasn't fully together and needed a hard drive and windows 7. So he told me if i wanted it ASAP and if i had the time he would show me how to fix it myself to get it up and running. Sure i was a little thrown back with it, cause i never fixed a computer before and was nervous, but he walked me thru everything and didn't get frustrated with me. The best experience i ever had with this. i got an awesome computer that runs fast and also got some training into how to fix a computer which i have never did before. Overall i think this company is looking out for your best interest and what he told me was "I didn't name my company No Nonsense for nothing". Thank you so much Travis

Travis has done work for me several times over the past four years. He's diagnosed and fixed a power supply problem with my daughter's laptop, built me a desktop machine when the motherboard failed on my old one, and recently fixed a memory board problem on the same desktop (and cleaned the power supply at the same time). Travis is quick, thorough, and has great rates. Highly recommended.

    Amy D. (Wednesday, 29 May 2013 14:09)

The power jack on my Asus laptop was not working and wouldn't hold a charge. I got a few quotes from local computer stores, but all of their prices were near very expensive and were going to take days or a week to fix. I work from home, so I didn't have that kind of time to be without my laptop. Thankfully, I found Travis who was a few blocks from me and he was very helpful and turned my computer around in 1 hour the same day I called! He also fixed the old cord for me until I could order a new one and gave me the site to where I could order a new one and helpful tips for other things that could help me with my home office setup. I would highly recommend his services and he is the least expensive and most responsive in his business!

Travis came over on a Sunday morning, and fixed my problem in about ten minutes....He did lie--he told me over the phone Saturday night it would take at least twenty minutes--but he did it in ten. He was Terrific!!! He was also on-time.. I cannot recommend him too highly.

When we contacted Travis regarding our laptop which was infected with a virus. he was able to help us with it immediately. The first place we tried said they would need to keep it for up to three days, maybe more. He strives to and succeeds in providing great customer service. Our computer is up and running with no problems. We brought a second laptop in for general maintenance and he discovered it had malware on it which he removed. He answered all of our questions and we won't hesitate to give him our business in the future. He offers reasonable rates with very fast and excellent service.

Travis did such a quick and thorough job when he fixed my Toshiba Satellite's broken hinge. He made sure to reinforce it, make it stronger, and I had it back within one day! Our office was having some issues with our color letterhead. We had contacted several other repair places before we contacted Travis, and none of the others were willing to try and figure out the problem. Travis was very proactive and willing to try and fix the problem. Our company now has a beautiful functioning color letterhead, and we could not be happier. Plus, the total cost was only $75. Talk about a bargain!

Travis, your quality of service sets what I think should be the STANDARD for every person that works on Computers. You were PROMPT, THOROUGH and stayed with me until you were sure that I understood my issue. I called you and you came over the NEXT DAY and took care of all my issues (and then some), AND withing the price range that you had estimated. AWESOME GUY!

My power button broke off of my laptop making it impossible to turn on. I called Travis on a Thursday. He told me he could get it working in a day (he had a couple of customers ahead of me). He found another problem that needed to be fixed with the power cord connection. He called me and only added $15 onto the price quote to add the additional repair. It was all fixed and I was able to pick it up and back up my files by Friday afternoon. From what I researched before contacting him, the replacement cost would have been at least double what I paid for the repair. Speedy and friendly service.

    Waleed (Thursday, 25 April 2013 08:58)

The power jack on my Asus was completely busted and pieces of it were left rattling in the laptop. I got several quotes from local and non-local computer shops, but all of their prices for repairing a power jack were near the $200 range. Luckily, I found Travis who could repair my laptop for more than half the cost. He's a very friendly guy who you could tell had experience. In less than a day I had my problem solved and he even helped speed up my laptop for a few couple bucks. Great guy, great service.
